Cost of COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ for your Migraine or Headache Includes:

• Consultations and neurological examination with specialized general practitioner.
• X-rays where medically indicated (Cervical spine, Sinus, TMJ, Pan, Ceph)
• Electromyography 
• Consultations with S.A.H.S. Chairman Dr Elliot Shevel (where necessary)
• Specialist Sisters Consultations and Emergency Pain Relief
• FREE prescription review consultations for 6 months
• The total cost is a once-off fee of between R1400 and R2920 depending on the  number of X-rays necessary.

Why does the COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ Fee include FREE prescription review consultations with my team of specialists FOR 6 MONTHS

• Because every time you come for a free consultation to update your prescription, your team of specialists have another chance to convince you to go with drug free treatment modalities that are both less harmful and more effective.

What is NOT included in the COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ fee

• Brain scans and blood tests are not included because they are almost never necessary, and they are very expensive too. The neurological examination done on you will indicate if the brain scan is necessary or not.
• Treatment is NOT included in the cost of diagnosis. We can only provide a quotation for Non-Drug treatment once we have accurately diagnosed the cause of your pain.

How does payment for COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ work?

• Of the diagnosis fee, R1400 must be paid to us directly and claimed back from your medical aid if you have one.
• You can use your medical aid to cover the cost of x-rays at diagnosis.
• You can pay in cash, with a credit or with a bank guaranteed cheque.

What about Medical Aid?

• Except for x-rays, The Headache Clinic team of specialists WILL accept medical aid ONLY once COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ is finalized and they know exactly what the problem is
• Once they have made a COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ they will telephone your medical aid and find out exactly what your medical aid will pay so that YOU can make INFORMED treatment decisions going forward.
• All responsible medical aids will contribute towards your COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS™ and your Drug Free treatment at The Headache Clinic.
• Your team of specialists will unfortunately not deal with Discovery Health.
