Cost of Complete DiagnosisTM for your Migraine or Headache Includes:

ü      Consultations with your Neurologist – Dr Manny Orelowitz.
ü      X-rays where medically indicated (Neck, Sinuses, TM Joint (jaw joint), Orthopantomogram (jaws and teeth), Cephalometric analysis (according to Rocabado).
ü      Electromyography.
ü      Consultations with the Chairman of the South African Headache Society, Dr Elliot Shevel (where necessary).
ü      Specialist Nursing Sisters Consultations and Emergency Pain Relief .

ü      The total cost is a once-off fee of R3520

ü      This includes FREE prescription review consultations with your entire team of specialists for  12 months

What is NOT included in the Complete DiagnosisTM fee of R3520?

ü      Brain scans and blood tests are not included because they are exceedingly expensive and almost never necessary. Your Neurologist, Dr Manny Orelowitz will decide whether you need a brain scan or not. If he says you don’t need one THEN YOU DON’T NEED ONE.

ü      Treatment is NOT included in the cost of diagnosis. We can only provide a quotation for Non-Drug treatment once we have accurately diagnosed the cause of your pain.

How does payment for Complete DiagnosisTM work?

ü      The fee for Complete DiagnosisTM of R3520 must be paid to us directly and claimed back from your medical aid if you have one

ü      You can pay in cash, with a credit card, a debit card, or with a bank guaranteed cheque.

What about Medical Aid?

ü      Your team of specialists WILL accept medical aid ONLY once Complete DiagnosisTM is finalized and they know exactly what is causing the problem.

ü      Once they have made a Complete DiagnosisTM they will telephone your medical aid and find out exactly what your medical will pay so that YOU can make INFORMED treatment decisions going forward.

ü      All responsible medical aids will contribute towards your Complete DiagnosisTM and your Drug Free treatment at The Headache Clinic .

ü      Your team of specialists will unfortunately not deal with Discovery Health.
